1. Introduction
DenialStop ("we", "our", or "us") provides clinical audit tools for medical billing professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our website and services.
2. Data Collection
We collect minimal personal data required for service delivery:
- Account Information: Name, professional role, and contact information processed via Clerk.com.
- Usage Data: Counts of clinical audits performed to enforce subscription tiers.
- Clinical Metadata: CPT/HCPCS codes submitted during audits are processed locally or transiently for logic evaluation. We do not store patient-identifiable information (PHI).
3. HIPAA Compliance
DenialStop is designed to be a "Zero-PHI" platform. Users are instructed to input only procedure codes and dates of service. We do not ask for, nor do we store, patient names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, or any other direct identifiers listed under HIPAA's Privacy Rule.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted infrastructure partners:
- Supabase: For secure database storage and edge computing.
- Clerk: For identity management and authentication.
- Resend: For transactional email communications.
